Visitors to the Two Holy Mosques Reach 66.6 Million in Jumada Al-Awwal 1447 AH

RIYADH, November 27, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque announced that the total number of visitors to the Two Holy Mosques during Jumada Al-Awwal 1447 AH reached 66,633,153, an increase of 12,121,252 compared with the previous month.


The authority said the number of worshippers at the Grand Mosque reached 25,987,679, including 100,489 worshippers in Hijr Ismail (Al-Hateem). The number of Umrah performers totaled 13,972,780.


At the Prophet’s Mosque, the number of worshippers reached 23,296,185, including 912,695 worshippers in Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah. Meanwhile, 2,363,325 visitors greeted the Prophet and his two companions.


The authority said it uses advanced technology based on sensor readers to monitor the number of worshippers and pilgrims entering through the main gates of the Two Holy Mosques. The system aims to enhance operational efficiency by tracking movement and crowd levels, enabling relevant authorities to manage flows in coordination with partner entities.
