Authority Reports Average Umrah Duration of 115 Minutes in Rabi’ Al-Awwal

Riyadh, October 2, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque reported that the average time to perform Umrah during Rabi’ Al-Awwal 1447 AH was 115 minutes.

According to the authority, 87% of pilgrims performed Tawaf in the Mataf area of the Grand Mosque. The average duration for Tawaf was 46 minutes, while Sa’i took approximately 47 minutes. Officials noted that pilgrims required around 12 minutes to move from the courtyards to the Mataf area and about 10 minutes to travel from the Mataf to Al-Mas’a.

The authority emphasized its commitment to monitoring pilgrim movement and facilitating rituals within the Grand Mosque to ensure comfort and ease.
