KYIV, April 10 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Ukraine is in talks with Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain on security cooperation and sharing its drone defence technology and expertise, President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Friday.
Zelenskiy said Ukraine had signed security cooperation agreements with Saudi Arabia and Qatar, while a deal with the United Arab Emirates had also been announced after his visits to several Middle Eastern countries last month.
Speaking in remarks released by his office, Zelenskiy said Ukraine had sent more than 200 experts to the Middle East and had used its own interceptor systems to help shoot down Iran's long-range Shahed drones.
"We used our own interceptors to shoot down Iranian 'Shaheds'. We demonstrated that achieving such results requires systemic solutions, particularly in the electronic warfare component," Zelenskiy said.
He said Ukraine had reached agreements on 10-year deals with three countries and that talks were under way with Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain.
Zelenskiy said supplies of oil and diesel to Ukraine were also part of the broader cooperation agreements under discussion.
