UAE president, Syrian president discuss ties, regional developments

RIYADH, April 22 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa discussed bilateral ties, cooperation in development and economic fields, and Middle East developments during Al-Sharaa’s working visit to the UAE.
Al-Sharaa condemned Iranian attacks targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure in the UAE and other countries in the region, saying they violated sovereignty and international law and undermined regional security and stability.
The talks also covered the implications of Middle East developments for regional and international peace and security, maritime security and the global economy.
Both leaders affirmed their commitment to advancing UAE-Syria relations in support of development and mutual interests.
