UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Begins State Visit Reception in Berlin
BERLIN, September 10 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier welcomed UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at Villa Borsig in Berlin as part of the Emirati leader’s state visit to Germany.
In a message in the villa’s guestbook, Sheikh Mohamed expressed his hope for deeper relations between the two countries and their peoples. He described their longstanding partnership as rooted in friendship and cooperation.
The UAE delegation includes Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President.
The national anthems of both countries were played during the reception, and Sheikh Mohamed inspected a guard of honour. The two presidents also greeted ministers, senior officials and members of the accompanying delegation.
