UAE President meets Turkish foreign minister to discuss ties, Middle East
ABU DHABI, September 28, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Monday to discuss bilateral cooperation and developments in the Middle East, WAM reported.
The two discussed ways to strengthen ties between the UAE and Türkiye, as well as regional and international issues. Their talks covered efforts to promote security, stability and lasting peace in the Middle East.
Fidan conveyed greetings from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Sheikh Mohamed asked him to pass on his regards to Erdoğan and his wishes for Türkiye’s continued prosperity.
Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan were among those who attended the meeting.
