UAE hosts second round of Russia-Ukraine-US talks in Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI, February 4, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – A second round of trilateral talks between Russia, Ukraine and the United States began in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday as part of diplomatic efforts aimed at advancing a political process to resolve the crisis.

The UAE foreign ministry described the hosting of the talks as reflecting the country’s balanced relations with all three parties and international confidence in the UAE’s role in facilitating dialogue and supporting an environment for constructive negotiations led by U.S. President Donald Trump.

The ministry described the opening of the second round as an indication of continued commitment to the diplomatic track and said it hoped the talks would build on outcomes from the first round and contribute to advancing mutual understanding.

The ministry reiterated the UAE’s commitment to supporting international efforts toward what it described as a comprehensive and lasting political solution that strengthens prospects for peace and stability at regional and global levels.
