UAE documentary And Hope Remains wins 2026 Cannes Corporate Media & TV Award
CANNES, France, September 26, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — And Hope Remains, a documentary produced by the UAE’s International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council, has won the Digital Documentaries category at the 2026 Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards.
Mohammed Jalal Al Rayssi, chairman of the Council’s Media Committee, accepted the award on its behalf at the winners’ ceremony held in Cannes on September 23–24.
The film tells the stories of people affected by disasters, crises and conflict. It explores humanitarian solidarity, recovery and resilience through the experiences of those communities.
And Hope Remains premiered in October 2025 at the eighth El Gouna Film Festival in Egypt, where it drew a positive audience response and praise from directors, artists and critics.
