UAE Condemns Iranian Missile and Drone Attack on Kuwait

ABU DHABI, September 3, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — The United Arab Emirates strongly condemned an Iranian missile and drone attack targeting Kuwait on Thursday, describing it as a flagrant violation of the country’s sovereignty.
In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attack threatened Kuwait’s security and stability.
The ministry reaffirmed the UAE’s full solidarity with Kuwait and expressed support for all measures taken to safeguard the country’s security and stability.
Earlier on Thursday, the Kuwaiti Armed Forces said the country’s air defence systems were responding to hostile Iranian missiles and drones.
Kuwaiti authorities said explosions heard across the country were connected to interception operations against incoming threats.
The UAE statement did not provide information about the targets of the attack or report any casualties or damage.
