UAE Advises Against Travel to Uganda, Congo and South Sudan Over Ebola

ABU DHABI, May 31 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — The United Arab Emirates advised its citizens and residents against travel to Uganda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and South Sudan unless absolutely necessary, citing the evolving public health situation related to Ebola virus disease, WAM reported.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged UAE nationals currently in the three countries to exercise caution and follow health and safety instructions issued by local authorities.
The ministry also advised citizens abroad to register in the Twajudi service and contact the ministry in emergencies through the dedicated number for UAE nationals abroad: +97180024.
The ministry said the advisory was part of the UAE’s efforts to ensure the wellbeing and safety of its citizens abroad.
