U.S. State Department Approves Potential $1 Billion Helicopter Support Package for Saudi Arabia

WASHINGTON, December 2, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The U.S. State Department has approved a potential sale of support, training and related equipment for military helicopters to Saudi Arabia at an estimated cost of $1 billion, the Pentagon said on Monday.

The proposed package includes requisition orders for spare parts, repair components and aviation training services for the Royal Saudi Land Forces Aviation Corps’ helicopter fleet, the Pentagon said in separate statements.
