U.S. Defense Secretary Says ‘Most Intense Day of Strikes’ Expected Inside Iran

Riyadh, March 10, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Tuesday that the United States expects what he described as its most intense day of strikes inside Iran.

Speaking to reporters from the Pentagon, Hegseth said the last 24 hours had seen Iran fire the lowest number of missiles since the start of the conflict.

At the same briefing, Dan Caine said the U.S. military was entering the 11th day of its operation against Iran.
