Türkiye Condemns Houthi Attacks on Saudi Arabia and Red Sea Shipping
ANKARA, September 9 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Türkiye condemned Houthi attacks on civilian and economic facilities in Saudi Arabia and the continued targeting of commercial vessels in the Red Sea, warning of threats to the safety and freedom of international maritime navigation.
The attacks on Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan and Najran injured civilians, including women and children, according to SPA.
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Türkiye’s support for Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity in a statement condemning the attacks.
The ministry said the attacks endangered civilian lives and property, escalated regional tensions and undermined diplomatic efforts to reach a lasting political solution to the conflict in Yemen.
