Two Holy Mosques receive 43.8 million visitors in first 10 days of Ramadan

Riyadh, March 1, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – A total of 43,840,961 visits were recorded at the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah during the first 10 days of Ramadan 1447 AH, based on operational indicators tracking entries to prayer areas and Umrah activity.


The Grand Mosque recorded 23,839,592 worshippers who performed the five daily prayers and Taraweeh, alongside 8,110,498 Umrah performers.


The Prophet’s Mosque recorded 10,789,467 worshippers for the five daily prayers and Taraweeh. During the same period, 317,025 worshippers prayed in Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah and 784,379 visitors offered greetings to the Prophet Muhammad and his two companions.
