RIYADH, August 9 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Two juvenile gyr-peregrine falcons from German and British breeding farms sold for a combined SAR 201,000 during the second night of the International Falcon Breeders Auction 2026.


The first falcon, presented by German breeding farm PF3 Falcons, opened at SAR 20,000 and sold for SAR 100,000. The bird weighs 1,260 grams and has a wingspan of 16.5 inches.


A falcon from British breeding farm Sky Falcons opened at SAR 40,000 before selling for SAR 101,000. It weighs 1,200 grams and also has a wingspan of 16.5 inches.


The auction platform provides an identification card for each falcon detailing its species, age, farm, country of origin, weight, measurements, breeding environment and ring number. The information is available to falconers and buyers before bidding.


The National Center for Falcons is organizing the auction at its headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh. The event brings together local and international breeding farms and continues through August 25.
