Riyadh, March 5, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – U.S. President Donald Trump called on Iranian military personnel to lay down their arms and urged Iranian diplomats abroad to request asylum as the conflict with Iran continues.
“I’m once again calling on all members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, the military and the police to lay down their arms. They’re only going to be killed,” Trump said.
He also called on Iranian diplomats stationed around the world to seek asylum.
“We also urge Iranian diplomats around the world to request asylum and to help us shape a new and better Iran,” he said.
Trump added that the United States intends to focus on Iran first, before addressing other geopolitical issues.
He also said that Cuba “wants to make a deal so badly,” describing the issue as a matter of time.
