WASHINGTON, May 25 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — U.S. President Donald Trump called on Middle Eastern and other countries to sign the Abraham Accords after a deal to end the Iran war is reached, while warning that military action could resume if negotiations fail.
“I am mandatorily requesting that all Countries immediately sign the Abraham Accords, and that, if Iran signs its Agreement with me, as President of the United States of America, it would be an Honor to have them also be part of this unparalleled World Coalition,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post on Monday.
Trump said he discussed the issue in calls with the leaders of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan and Bahrain.
He said countries should be required to join the Abraham Accords, citing U.S. efforts to bring together a peace deal.
The Abraham Accords are agreements normalizing relations between Israel and several Arab countries, including the UAE and Bahrain.
Trump said negotiations with Iran were proceeding “nicely,” but warned that military operations could resume if no agreement is reached.
“It will only be a Great Deal for all or, no Deal at all — Back to the Battlefront and shooting, but bigger and stronger than ever before,” Trump said.
