Trump to Host Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman With High-Profile White House Welcome

RIYADH, November 13, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The White House is preparing an extensive program to welcome His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, during his visit to Washington next week, according to details reported by AP.

The Crown Prince’s visit, scheduled for Tuesday, will begin with a formal arrival ceremony on the South Lawn, followed by an official greeting on the South Portico, a senior White House official said.

President Trump will then host HRH the Crown Prince in the Oval Office for a bilateral meeting, after which both sides will move to the Cabinet Room for a signing ceremony and a working lunch, where the United States and Saudi Arabia are expected to formalize multiple economic and defense agreements, the official added.

In the evening, the White House will hold a dinner in the East Room, hosted by First Lady Melania Trump. The visit is categorized as an official working visit, as the Crown Prince is not formally a head of state.

On Wednesday, HRH the Crown Prince is expected to attend a meeting of the U.S.–Saudi Business Council at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, where dozens of CEOs are anticipated. Trump is considered “likely” to attend, though his participation has not yet been formally confirmed.

Trump has maintained strong relations with Gulf nations, with his first major foreign tour as president including visits to the UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, where he received an Air Force One escort from the Royal Saudi Air Force and a state dinner at a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

This trip marks the Crown Prince’s first visit to the United States since the 2018 killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. U.S. intelligence agencies have previously stated HRH the Crown Prince likely approved the operation. He has denied involvement, and both the Trump and Biden administrations have since worked to rebuild bilateral ties.
