WASHINGTON, March 16, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday that he does not believe Israel would use a nuclear weapon in the ongoing war with Iran.
“Israel wouldn’t do that. Israel would never do that,” Trump told reporters at the White House.
His remarks came after comments by David Sacks, the White House artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency adviser, who said in a recent interview that there were concerns about the possibility of Israel escalating the conflict by contemplating the use of a nuclear weapon.
Trump said the United States and Israel remain closely aligned in their military coordination despite potential differences in broader objectives.
“The relationship has been very good. The militaries are very well coordinated,” Trump told reporters on Sunday aboard Air Force One.
