.

WASHINGTON, April 4 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday renewed his April 6 deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz or face severe consequences, according to remarks posted on his social media account.

“Remember when I gave Iran ten days to MAKE A DEAL or OPEN UP THE HORMUZ STRAIT,” Trump wrote. “Time is running out — 48 hours before all Hell will reign down on them.”

Trump made the comment from the White House on Saturday morning.

The Trump administration had not issued an official comment on the U.S. fighter jet shot down in Iran.
