Super White Falcon Sells for SAR1.3 Million at International Falcon Breeders Auction 2026

RIYADH, August 16 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — A mottled gyr (Super White) chick sold for SAR1.3 million at the International Falcon Breeders Auction 2026, recording the highest price of this year’s event and the second-highest sale in the auction’s history.
The auction record remains SAR1.75 million, paid during a previous edition for an Ultra White pure mottled gyr chick.
The latest sale also surpassed the highest price recorded in 2025, when a Super White pure gyrfalcon from a U.S. farm fetched SAR1.2 million.
Bidding for this year’s Super White falcon began at SAR200,000 before reaching SAR1.3 million during the seventh auction night.
A pure gyrfalcon chick from the same Canadian breeding farm was also sold during the session. Bidding opened at SAR40,000 before the bird fetched SAR150,000.
The two falcons generated combined sales of SAR1.45 million.
The International Falcon Breeders Auction 2026 continues through August 25. Its proceedings are broadcast on television channels covering the event and livestreamed through the National Center for Falcons’ social media accounts.
