stc says it supported over 12 million Riyadh Season visitors with expanded 5G coverage

Riyadh, January 16, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – stc group said it supported more than 12 million visitors at Riyadh Season as a premium official partner, marking its fifth consecutive year of strategic partnership.

The group said it facilitated more than 2.8 million voice calls and handled over 15,000 terabytes of data through its 4G and 5G networks, providing connectivity for attendees and more than 10,000 roaming subscribers.

To sustain capacity, stc said it expanded 5G coverage across 14 key locations by deploying 60 coverage sites, including outdoor and indoor towers. It also said it installed more than 2,500 antennas to support Internet of Things applications, alongside high-speed Wi-Fi access points across venues.

The group said it used machine-learning solutions to optimize network performance in real time, supported by 24/7 operations.
