Sharjah, September 19, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, the Fourth Arab Conference on Intellectual Property will take place at the University of Sharjah from September 23 to 25.

Organized by the University of Sharjah in cooperation with the Arab Administrative Development Organisation (ARADO) of the League of Arab States, the Emirates Intellectual Property Association, and the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology, the conference will focus on the theme “Protecting Intellectual Property Rights in the Era of Digital Technologies.”

The event aims to address the challenges posed by digital technologies and artificial intelligence in protecting intellectual property rights, while exploring the development of national and international legal frameworks to strengthen protection and ensure fairness in the use of intellectual works.

Over three days, the program will cover topics including international agreements on intellectual property rights, legal challenges in both real and virtual domains, the role of artificial intelligence in IP protection, the impact of digital transformation, and the importance of integrating IP concepts into educational curricula.

The agenda includes more than seven scientific sessions and panel discussions, featuring experts from around the world, alongside faculty, students, and researchers from the University of Sharjah. Participants will also include representatives from Interpol, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and international patent offices.
