SHARJAH, July 2 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - The Sharjah Institute for Heritage received a delegation from the UAE National Orchestra as the two institutions discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the heritage and music sectors.


The delegation was led by UAE National Orchestra Managing Director Sheikha Alia bint Khalid Al Qasimi and included Egyptian composer Hisham Nazih and Farah Jadeed, Senior Manager at the Office of the Managing Director.


Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam, Chairman of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, received the delegation alongside several department heads.


The delegation toured the institute’s facilities and was briefed on its work in safeguarding Emirati intangible cultural heritage through documentation, research and training programs for younger generations.


Al Musallam said the visit reflected the importance of cooperation among cultural institutions and could support new creative projects rooted in Emirati heritage.


The two sides agreed to broaden cooperation between cultural and artistic institutions and explore joint initiatives that connect Emirati heritage with contemporary creative production.
