LONDON, July 7 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Saudi Arabia’s Sela Company has opened its international headquarters in London, establishing a new hub for its overseas operations in sports, entertainment and culture.
The company, a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund, inaugurated the headquarters in the presence of Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom Prince Abdullah bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, General Entertainment Authority Chairman Turki bin Abdulmohsen Alalshikh and Sela Managing Director Rakan Al-Harthy.
The London headquarters will support Sela’s cooperation with international event organisers, rights holders, venue operators and production partners as the company expands its presence in global markets.
Officials attending the ceremony were briefed on the company’s international strategy, its objectives outside Saudi Arabia, strategic partnerships and current projects.
Prince Abdullah said the opening reflected Saudi Arabia’s growing global presence and the progress achieved in the kingdom’s sports and entertainment sectors under Vision 2030. He also said Saudi-British relations offered opportunities to expand cooperation.
“Sela represents a national model capable of competing globally, thanks to its accumulated expertise and strategic partnerships, which have enabled it to deliver some of the world's largest sports and entertainment projects and events,” Alalshikh said.
“The opening of this headquarters in London marks an important step in strengthening its presence in international markets, expanding its global network, and supporting the delivery of more projects in the coming years,” he added.
