Scottish Falconry Farm Joins International Falcon Breeders Auction

RIYADH, August 10 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — A family-run falconry farm from Scotland is participating in the International Falcon Breeders Auction in Malham, north of Riyadh, with an operation focused primarily on racing falcons.
The family uses GPS tracking devices to monitor its birds during training, practice and free flight. It also operates a separate project producing falcons for sale and export.
Leslie, one of the farm’s owners, works in falconry alongside her husband, Jeff, and their daughter. She said the farm specializes mainly in gyrfalcon-peregrine hybrids used for racing following the birds’ results in several competitions.
Organized by the National Center for Falcons, the auction brings together breeding farms from different countries, including European operations combining falconry experience, race-oriented breeding and modern flight-tracking technology.
