Saudi Weather Center Warns of Gusty Winds, Blowing Dust Across Several Regions

RIYADH, July 1 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Gusty winds and blowing dust are expected to continue across parts of Saudi Arabia’s Northern Borders, Eastern, Riyadh and Najran regions, as well as parts of Makkah and Madinah, the National Center for Meteorology said.
Thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds remain possible in parts of Jazan, Aseer and Al-Baha.
Over the Red Sea, winds will be northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 20 to 40 kph in the northern part and 15 to 35 kph in the central and southern parts, reaching 50 kph toward the Gulf of Aqaba.
Wave heights in the Red Sea are expected to range from one metre to one and a half metres, reaching two metres in the northern part. The sea will be moderate.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northwesterly to westerly in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to southwesterly in the southern part, at speeds of 12 to 35 kph.
Wave heights in the Arabian Gulf will range from half a metre to one and a half metres, with the sea expected to be calm to moderate.
