RIYADH, May 5 — Saudi Arabia’s Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority reminded businesses subject to withholding tax to submit their April forms by May 10, state news agency SPA reported.
The authority said filings should be completed through its official website to avoid penalties. Late payments are subject to a 1% fine on unpaid tax for every 30 days of delay.
Withholding tax applies to payments made from Saudi-based sources to non-resident entities that do not have a permanent establishment in the Kingdom, under Saudi income tax law.
Businesses can contact ZATCA through its call center, X support account, email or live chat for assistance.
