Saudi, Syrian foreign ministers meet on sidelines of Munich Security Conference

Munich, February 14, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met on Saturday with Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani and the accompanying Syrian delegation on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference 2026.
The ministers reviewed fraternal relations between Saudi Arabia and Syria and reaffirmed support for the comprehensive agreement in Syria, which provides for the integration of the Autonomous Administration’s institutions into those of the Syrian state. They also expressed support for Syrian government efforts to preserve the country’s sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity.
The discussion included regional developments and initiatives to achieve security, stability, and development.
Director-General of the General Administration for Policy Planning Prince Dr. Abdullah bin Khaled bin Saud Al‑Kabeer attended the meeting.
