Saudi religious affairs presidency launches 1447 AH Ramadan operational plan for Grand Mosque, Prophet’s Mosque

Riyadh, January 30, 2026 (SABN) – The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has launched its 1447 AH Ramadan operational plan, aimed at enriching the spiritual experience of visitors and promoting the message of moderation.
Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, President of Religious Affairs, said the plan is a systematic, institutional response to the diverse cultural and linguistic needs of global visitors.
He said the plan includes 100 initiatives, including expanding translation services to more than 40 languages and launching new digital platforms and smart applications.
The presidency has mobilized an integrated team of more than 850 specialists, including imams, muezzins and scholars, to support implementation during the holy month, it said.
It added that the operational framework is supported by performance indicators and impact measurement tools to maintain standards of guidance and education throughout Ramadan.
