Riyadh, February 1, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia’s real gross domestic product grew 4.5% in 2025 compared with the previous year, with growth of 4.9% in the fourth quarter compared with the same period in 2024, according to estimates released by General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).

Oil activities recorded the strongest expansion, rising 10.4% in the fourth quarter and 5.6% over the full year, the estimates showed.

Non-oil activities grew 4.1% in the fourth quarter and 4.9% in 2025, while government activities declined 1.2% in the fourth quarter but rose 0.9% over the year.

GASTAT said the quarterly flash estimates are preliminary and are prepared shortly after the end of the reference quarter when data remain incomplete. Final real GDP results for the fourth quarter of 2025 are scheduled for release in March 2026.
