Saudi Real Estate Development Fund Deposits SAR 1.074 Billion in Housing Support

RIYADH, August 24 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Arabia’s Real Estate Development Fund deposited SAR 1.074 billion into the accounts of beneficiaries of the housing support program for August 2026.

The support is provided through the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing and the Real Estate Development Fund.

The fund said the payments were allocated to support profits on contracts under various housing support programs, helping beneficiaries improve their ability to own homes in line with the objectives of the Housing Program under Saudi Vision 2030.

Total housing support deposited into beneficiaries’ accounts from January through August 2026 reached SAR 8.628 billion.

The Real Estate Development Fund provides housing support services through its electronic portal, as well as its Real Estate Advisor service, which helps beneficiaries identify suitable financing and housing support options.

Since its establishment in 1974, the fund has enabled more than 1.8 million families to obtain their first homes and contributed to raising the homeownership rate among Saudi citizens to 66.24 percent.

The fund continues to develop financing solutions in cooperation with financing institutions and real estate developers to expand housing and financing options available to beneficiaries.
