Saudi Pro League Postpones Matchweek 13 as It Reviews Season Schedule

RIYADH, November 3 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Saudi Pro League (SPL) has postponed Matchweek 13 of the ROSHN Saudi League as it reviews the fixture schedule for the remainder of the season.

The league said the rescheduling of the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 had created additional flexibility in the domestic sports calendar, allowing it to reassess how league fixtures are distributed.

The review aims to balance match frequency with players’ recovery and rest periods.

The SPL will hold a workshop with clubs to discuss the distribution of matchweeks and gather their views on the competition calendar before determining the schedule for the rest of the season.
