Tokyo, October 5, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Saudi Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka has won the Olympics of Experiential Design award, presented by the Experiential Design Authority, in recognition of its artistic excellence, innovation, and cultural storytelling within the World Expolympics program.
This latest accolade adds to the pavilion’s previous international honors, including Best Large Pavilion and Best Exterior Architecture worldwide.
Saudi Ambassador to Japan and General Commissioner of the Saudi Pavilion Dr. Ghazi Binzagr said the award represents a renewed commitment to sharing Saudi Arabia’s vision with the world.
“We are honored to receive this international recognition at Expo 2025 Osaka,” he said. “This award is not the destination but rather renews our determination and sense of responsibility. It inspires us to continue our journey through culture, design, and sustainability—to share Saudi Arabia’s story, strengthen global partnerships, and create lasting experiences that connect people and endure for generations.”
The award was announced during a ceremony honoring the most distinguished design models at Expo 2025 Osaka, where evaluation criteria included innovation, visitor engagement, storytelling impact, and overall contribution to the spirit of World Expos.
The winners were selected by an international jury of 32 members, including leading architects, experiential designers, and event specialists.
The Saudi Pavilion continues to stand out for its immersive experience, blending architecture, art, and technology to reflect the Kingdom’s cultural depth and sustainable future.
