MUSCAT, July 8 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi in Muscat to discuss bilateral relations, Gulf cooperation and regional developments, the Saudi Press Agency reported.


The two ministers reviewed relations between Saudi Arabia and Oman and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in support of mutual interests and joint Gulf action.


Following the meeting, Prince Faisal and Albusaidi held an official session of talks covering strategic partnership across several fields.


The discussions focused on regional and international developments, including issues surrounding the Strait of Hormuz.


Both sides stressed the importance of maintaining waterway security, ensuring freedom of navigation and supporting peaceful dialogue to resolve disputes and enhance regional stability.


The talks also addressed joint strategic initiatives, including the land border crossing project, transport networks and logistics connectivity to support regional integration.


The ministers also discussed expanding economic, trade and investment cooperation through public-private partnerships and promising sectors.
