Saudi National Guard Minister Inaugurates 474-Bed Hospital in Qassim
BURAIDAH, September 23, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi National Guard Minister Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz inaugurated the 474-bed King Abdullah Specialist Hospital in Qassim on Wednesday, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Qassim Governor Prince Faisal bin Mishal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz and Deputy Governor Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Faisal bin Saad attended the inauguration. The hospital is part of the Ministry of National Guard’s health services.
The project includes the hospital building, service and residential facilities, and a helipad for medical evacuation flights carrying patients who need urgent specialist care.
The hospital has received LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
During the same visit to Qassim, Prince Abdullah toured the National Guard’s Fifth and Tenth Regiments and the command of a special security brigade. He was briefed on the units’ duties and readiness.
