Saudi-Led Coalition Strikes Houthi Missile Sites and Supply Lines in Yemen

RIYADH, October 26 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - The Saudi-led coalition said it destroyed five tunnels used to store ballistic missiles, four ballistic missile launchers and a missile depot during a military operation against Houthi targets in Yemen.
Coalition spokesperson Major General Turki Al-Malki said the operation also targeted supply lines between Houthi-controlled areas, along with fortifications, fighters and military equipment on front lines inside Yemen.
The Joint Forces Command carried out the operation in response to repeated Houthi missile and drone attacks against civilians and civilian facilities in Saudi Arabia and Yemen, Al-Malki said.
He said the strikes were intended to neutralize sources of threat and protect Saudi territory, citizens and residents, as well as civilians in Yemen.
The coalition said it would continue deterrent operations against the Houthis. Al-Malki said the military operation complied with international humanitarian law and its customary rules.
