Saudi, Jordan and Qatar leaders discuss regional escalation in Jeddah

RIYADH, March 30, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, held a trilateral meeting in Jeddah on Monday with His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, SPA reported.
The three leaders discussed the latest regional developments and the repercussions of the military escalation in the region.
They also reviewed the risks to freedom of international navigation and the security of energy supplies, as well as the impact on the global economy and coordination of joint efforts to enhance regional security and stability.
The leaders said continued Iranian attacks on Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the Kingdom of Jordan targeting vital and civilian infrastructure constituted a dangerous escalation that threatened the security and stability of the region.
