Saudi Interior Ministry Launches ‘Balagh’ Security Awareness Initiative

RIYADH, Oct 4 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior launched the “Balagh” security awareness initiative on Sunday, aiming to encourage the public to report incidents that could affect community safety and strengthen cooperation between citizens, institutions and security authorities, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The initiative promotes the use of official reporting channels, including Unified Security Operations Centers through 911 and the “Kollona Amn” application.
Authorities said broader public participation can help identify potential risks earlier and support faster security responses.
The 60-day initiative is open to individuals as well as public- and private-sector organizations.
Participants are invited to develop awareness material and submit ideas highlighting the importance of security reporting. Entries may include videos, infographics, visual material and written media reports.
The Ministry of Interior is implementing the initiative in cooperation with Arabian Contracting Services, with awareness messages designed for modern media platforms and communication channels.
