MAKKAH, May 22 — Saudi Interior Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif reviewed the readiness of Hajj Security Forces to implement operational and organisational plans for the 1447 AH Hajj season.

The review took place during the annual ceremony of participating Hajj security forces in Makkah.

Director of Public Security and Chairman of the Hajj Security Committee Mohammed Al-Bassami said authorities had mobilised resources and capabilities to support pilgrims and ensure safe crowd movement during Hajj.

He said Hajj Security Forces had begun implementing integrated security and preventive plans designed to address various operational scenarios and contingencies.

The plans aim to ensure the safety and security of pilgrims in Makkah, Madinah, the holy sites and along pilgrimage routes.

The ceremony included security and field simulations, displays of security vehicles and technologies, and demonstrations involving Security Aviation and field support units.
