Saudi industry minister joins international critical minerals ministerial in Washington

WASHINGTON, February 5, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Alkhorayef represented Saudi Arabia at an international ministerial meeting on critical minerals hosted by the U.S. Department of State in Washington.
The meeting addressed global challenges linked to securing critical minerals and rare earth elements, with a focus on stronger international coordination to improve the resilience of critical-mineral supply chains.
Discussions also covered the role of these minerals in supporting global economic development and sustaining long-term growth in the mining and minerals sector.
