RIYADH, November 24, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Saudi–French Business Forum opened on Sunday in Riyadh, hosted by Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority of Foreign Trade Majid Al-Kassabi and French Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and Economic Attractiveness Nicolas Forissier.


Al-Kassabi reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to developing relations and partnerships with France based on mutual respect, while enhancing trade cooperation and expanding joint economic opportunities across priority sectors.


The forum brought together more than 230 Saudi and French companies to discuss potential partnerships in areas including smart cities, sports, culture, and advanced technology.


Trade volume between the two countries reached approximately $48 billion, with Saudi exports consisting mainly of boilers, machinery, appliances, mechanical tools, and aircraft and spacecraft. French exports to the Kingdom included boilers, machinery, appliances, mechanical tools, and pharmaceutical products.

Bilateral trade grew at an average rate of 15.37% between 2020 and 2024
