NEW YORK, September 24, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan took part in a joint ministerial meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly’s high-level week, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Ministers discussed ways to turn cooperation between the two groups into projects and initiatives. Their talks covered opportunities in trade, investment, economic development and continued coordination on regional and international issues.

Saudi Deputy Minister for International Multilateral Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Rassi also attended the meeting.
