Saudi Foreign Minister Holds Talks With Arab Counterparts in Amman

AMMAN, June 23 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah held separate meetings in Amman with counterparts from Syria, Algeria, Sudan and Mauritania on the sidelines of the resumed 165th ordinary session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level.
Prince Faisal met Syrian Foreign Minister and Expatriates Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani, with the two sides reviewing bilateral relations and discussing regional developments.
He also met Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs Ahmed Attaf. The talks addressed bilateral relations and regional developments.
In a separate meeting, Prince Faisal held talks with Sudanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Mohieldin Salem Ahmed Ibrahim, during which the two sides discussed regional developments and issues of mutual interest.
The Saudi foreign minister also met Mauritanian Foreign Minister, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad Minister Dr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug. The meeting reviewed bilateral relations and discussed issues of mutual interest.
The meetings took place as Arab foreign ministers gathered in Amman for the resumed session of the Council of the League of Arab States.
