Saudi Foreign Minister Holds Calls with Counterparts from Spain, Türkiye, Jordan and Iraq

Riyadh, January 18, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah held separate phone calls with the foreign ministers of Spain, Türkiye, Jordan and Iraq, the ministry said.
Prince Faisal discussed regional and international developments with Spain’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation Jose Manuel Albares, as both sides reviewed ongoing efforts related to current geopolitical issues.
The minister also spoke with Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, with the two officials exchanging views on regional developments and matters of mutual concern.
In a call with Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, discussions focused on joint efforts aimed at supporting security and stability in the region.
Prince Faisal also held talks with Iraq’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein. The two ministers reviewed bilateral relations and discussed the latest regional developments.
