Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed Aljadaan concludes participation in OPEC Fund meetings in Vienna

VIENNA, Austria, June 24 — Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed Aljadaan concluded his participation in the OPEC Fund Development Forum and the 47th Meeting of the OPEC Fund Ministerial Council in Vienna.
The meetings, held from June 23 to 24 under the theme “A Transition That Empowers Our Tomorrow,” focused on strengthening responses to global development challenges.
Aljadaan said development efforts must go beyond economic growth to build economies that are more resilient to global shocks, strengthen supply chains and improve countries’ readiness for rising risks.
He said development finance institutions, including the OPEC Fund, play a key role in mobilizing resources, sharing knowledge and supporting innovation.
Aljadaan also attended the OPEC Fund Ministerial Council meeting, the fund’s highest governing body.
