Saudi Film Festival concludes 12th edition in Dhahran

DHAHRAN, July 3 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - The 12th Saudi Film Festival concluded in Dhahran with an awards ceremony honoring competition winners and a preview of features planned for the next edition, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The festival was organized by the Cinema Association in partnership with the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture, Ithra, and supported by the Film Commission.
The program showcased 50 films, including feature films, short films and documentaries.
The festival also included cultural and educational activities, including seminars, workshops, expert meetings and book signings for the Saudi Cinema Encyclopedia.
The edition highlighted the festival’s role as a Saudi platform supporting local cinema and strengthening its regional and international presence.
The festival also provided avenues for cinematic stories to move from initial ideas to the screen.
