Saudi Falcons Exhibition Expands 2026 Visitor Experiences With Hiking, Marine Fishing and 12 Melwah Races

RIYADH, Oct 8 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — The International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2026 has expanded its visitor experiences this year with hiking, marine fishing, heritage activities and 12 Melwah races, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The exhibition has broadened its nature, adventure and outdoor offerings, including a marine fishing experience that introduces visitors to Saudi Arabia’s maritime heritage and traditional fishing tools.
A hiking experience also simulates walking and climbing trails in mountainous environments.
The Melwah Racing competition, running from October 4 to 9, has been expanded to 12 races across owners, amateurs, professionals and elite categories, with total prizes of SAR723,000.
Falcons compete over a distance of 200 meters using six types of Farkh falcons: Hurr, Shaheen, Gyr Pure, Mathlooth Gyr, Gyr Taba’ and Gyr Shaheen.
The exhibition has also expanded participation from desert vehicle and caravan exhibitors, with new equipment and displays featured this year.
Visitors can also explore modern exhibits in the weapons area, alongside heritage and educational content highlighting the history and traditions of falconry.
The International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2026 is organized by the National Center for Falcons at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center in Malham, north of Riyadh.
The exhibition continues through October 10.
