RIYADH, December 17 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Saudi Falcons Club announced the addition of two competition rounds for Mongolian falcons in the Al-Milwah (400-metre) race at the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival 2025.

The festival will be held from December 25, 2025, to January 10, 2026, at the club’s headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh.

The new rounds reflect the festival’s expansion in competitive categories and the diversification of participants. The Mongolian falcon round carries a total prize pool of SAR 337,000, to be distributed among the top ten finishers.

An elite Mongolian falcons round has also been introduced, offering total prize money of SAR 550,000.

Mongolian falcons are widely favoured by falconers for their large size, long wingspan, endurance, varied plumage, and strong hunting abilities, as well as their resilience to harsh climatic conditions and responsiveness to training.
