Saudi embassy in Moscow marks centenary of ties with education, culture symposium

RIYADH, April 28 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - The Saudi Embassy in Moscow, represented by its cultural attaché, organised a symposium at RUDN University titled “A Century of Friendship and Cultural and Scientific Exchange” to mark 100 years of diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Russia.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister for International Cooperation Latifa Al-Faryan, along with a number of deans and professors from various universities.

Saudi Ambassador to Russia Sami Al-Sadhan highlighted the importance of bilateral relations in education and culture and said the kingdom viewed education as a cornerstone of Vision 2030.

He also noted the academic standing of Russian universities, particularly in engineering, medicine and space sciences, and said stronger cooperation in scientific, educational and cultural fields would help deepen broader bilateral ties.
